I woke up later than usual and ended up being late to my favorite high school class, AP European History w/ Kath. I have to admit that I had no idea of the events that had and were taking place and that very moment...and even got scolded by the teacher for it. Her exact words were "You guys will remember this day for the rest of your lives, pay attention!" So I did...
And I still remember...
Great story found HERE.

Tori I SO remember Kath saying that! And I remember so much about that day (which is unusual seeing that I cant even remember the some of the names of the boys I dated-sad I know)I remember we just watched the news all day in school, and Kathy said that we will remember random but detailed things about how our day went on September 11, 2001. And I remember picking up Terena in my red Honda before school and asking her if she heard what was happening.....what a memorable day.
Oh I so remember. We were on the way to the temple for a wedding. It had only begun when we got there. I just remember feeling so safe and at peace. Here I am in the most sacred place on earth and the world outside is crumbling down. Needless to say that marriage didn't last, weird I know.
Ha! I was there too in Kaths class with you! I too remember watching the news and her saying that we would remember that day for the rest of our lives and I do! I also remember me tearing some ligaments during cheer practice and being down the rest of football season, remember that?! It was a CRAZY and memorable day!
I really liked the story of that author's 9/11 experience. Can you imagine being in the city when all that took place? CRAZY! I was actually in Dallas, Texas for Southwest Airlines inflight training when the attacks happened. Training was at the airport there and it was so weird how quiet the airport became when all the planes were grounded. So many people decided that they didn't want to be a flight attendant anymore and went home as soon as they could get on a plane. Definitely a day I don't think many will ever forget!
