Apostrophy Designs: Finding Joy in the Journey

Finding Joy in the Journey

"Sometimes we let our thoughts of tomorrow take up too much of today. Daydreaming of the past and longing for the future may provide comfort but will not take the place of living in the present. This is the day of our opportunity, and we must grasp it.

Professor Harold Hill, in Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, cautioned, “You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you’ve collected a lot of empty yesterdays.”

There is no tomorrow to remember if we don’t do something today, and to live most fully today, we must do that which is of greatest importance. Let us not procrastinate those things which matter most."

I just loved General Conference, didn't you??

Also isn't it great that we are getting a new temple in Calgary, CA
[and 4 other wonderful locations]?? Maybe if Don can get all of his issues with Canada straightened out we could go up there for the dedication!!

I love what Pres Monson said. It makes me feel so calm and at peace. Thank heavens for Conference!

I love that!!! And I loved conference! It's so good to be able to be with family and listen to our prophet & all of the other talks that were given. It's such a breath of fresh air and a great way to end the weekend and start a new week.

Thanks for sharing this quote! I need to go back and re-read those conference talks.

These little funnies I happened to grab from Design Crush. She always has cute stuff up. These just made me laugh today. I needed a good little laugh.

hi! I've been lurking since you were on tip junkie, so I guess it's been a few months now. :S

I have a question for you about pimping my blog. I would have just emailed ya but I couldn't find your email anywhere on your blog.

So I read the posts you did a few months ago on pimping your blog part one and two. I just have a problem keeping the background transparent when I'm finished editing my picture. When I click "flatten image" in PSE it makes the background white. And if I just click "merge visible layers" it stays transparent, BUT changes to white when I save it as a JPEG.

Does that make sense? I hope you can help. I'd really really appreciate it. You can either visit my blog or email me at linford1@gmail.com

Thanks! I love your blog. So inspirational.
