Apostrophy Designs: Baby Sister, Chiiiiiiicka

Baby Sister, Chiiiiiiicka

We are getting close [t-minus 3 weeks] and ready for this new baby girl of ours to arrive.

However, sometimes my doctor says he will induce me a week early [as was the case with Bergs] and then the next I am looking great to go right to my due date....

I think it's the waiting game that gets to you the most, especially when I didn't really contract much with Bergs so every little thing is like "oh" and then its nothing really...

I am not meaning to complain by any means because I am really grateful to be FULL with CHILD, I think for those of you that know me really well can attest to the fact that I just REALLY cannot be kept waiting...

We took these pictures the other day and I love them for a couple reasons...

1- You can't see my swollen face... ha ha!

2- Bergen looks so grown up in these pictures and really she has grown up these last few weeks...

3- The last picture is Bergen half way through saying Baby Chiicka, which is the name she calls her baby sister.

3a- Speaking of names, we are out of luck and looking for a name, so if you have any ideas shoot them our way...

Oh how I love her, just like I will love this new baby [nameless/CHICKA] girl of ours!

I really like the name Laney, but Kevin informed me the other day that if we ever have another girl that will not be her name.

I did notice today that Bergen seemed a little more grown up. :) She was so great in nursery.

So...I'm not really sure what you mean by your swollen face. Doesn't look swollen to me at all. You'll probably hate me for saying this but you don't really look huge to me either. You are a very pretty pregnant lady and carry yourself well. Wish I could say the same. I look pretty uncomfortable at the end - or maybe I just feel it. ;)

Sorry if I was insensitive about saying "pffft, you can make it a week." I'm on my 3rd pregnancy and somehow I still forget how anxious we mothers get at the end. What I meant to say is that I hope the time flies by comfortably for you. I remember going into false labor at 37 weeks with Reid. I did contract with Owen so I didn't freak out too bad, but I was starting to progress pretty good to the point that I felt like it might be it. By 1 am everything stopped cold. It felt so cruel to try to go to bed after that. I had to be induced at 39 weeks. :( Waiting can be hard. I feel for you.

As for names...I really like the names Bridget and Natalie. Jared likes neither. Go figure. I also kind of like the name Cora. Good luck!

Names..... So hard. I love Emry, Avery, Charlotte, Ruby, Scarlotte, or Capri, or Josette.
