As part of our kitchen remodel, we decided to knock down a wall to make our house more open...and so far it's helped lighting a ton.
P.S. Anyone know anything about load-bearing walls? I fear for our ceiling...

Tori - here you are! I was so excited to see your blog. I had searched for it before, but you think I'd be smart enough to figure out that I could just click on your name after you left a comment on my blog. Anyway, your kitchen remodel looks awesome. Are you guys still in the house by where the Brady's lived? And the apostrophy designs - is that you? Those bags are amazing!
You guys are crazy for not making sure you didn't knock down a bracing wall. But I think the open space will be very nice indeed.
