Uh, Earth to...

You remember the movie Zoolander? Well I watched it this past weekend [thanks to TBS] and it managed to turn my illness [more like I was dying] into something better. Now, here I am, almost to the weekend and half-way through my last semester of college...am I the least bit interested in doing homework or working on projects?? Nope, no desire.

[insert Zoolander]

Brint: Or the way Hansel combs his hair?

Meekus: Or like, doesn't, it's like, ex-squeeze me, but have you ever heard of styling gel?

Brint: I'm sure Hansel's heard of styling gel, he's a male model.

Meekus: Uh, earth to Brint, I was making a joke.

Brint: Uh, Earth to Meekus, duh, okay I knew that!

Meekus: Uh earth to Brint, I'm not so sure you did cuz you were all 'well I'm sure he's heard of styling gel' like you DIDN'T know it was a joke!

Brint: I knew it was a joke Meekus, I just didn't get it right away!

Meekus: Earth to Brint...

Derek Zoolander: GUYS! Can we stop with the Earth tos!

As much as I would love to watch movies, Oprah and all of the other fantastic TV shows that are on, I seriously need an EARTH TO... get my act together now, or I'll be getting it together during the summer!

It's been awhile, eh? Well I had a run-in with death [exaggeration] just pray that Spring, Tulips, Sun, Lemonade Stands, Warmth and anything else that doesn't sound Wintry comes my way! THANKS...

Anywho, American Idol is on tonight and I've uh...been anxiously awaiting it's return since...last Thursday. So the scoop is that since they sang 60's song last week, this week they'll move up a decade and sing 70's [go figure]. Crossing fingers for 80's next week, I LOVE the 80's!

Two contestants have decided to play instruments, David C. and Jason. I really like Jason but boy do I wish he would put down the guitar. My other main man David A. is supposedly singing "Imagine" by John Lennon, could make for an amazing night.

A Glimpse At Twilight

For months now, I have read much about how people are falling in love with Edward and are dying to become vampires. I kept telling myself to ignore everyone and I was not going to read the Twilight series, but I finally broke down about a month or so ago... Sadly, I have become obsessed with the books and have found myself fitting in with the people above.

I am even more excited for the movie to come out...they recently posted these pictures of the Cullen Family for the movie and I thought I'd share them.

Hubba, Hubba, Wowzas!

Remember my project? Well I have been trying to rack up some photos for it, and then I stumbled upon these fine photos.

I couldn't help but appreciate the gene pool in which I come from, my sister's always joke about how they all got my dad's nose [which I did NOT receive & which is NOT a bad thing], but I can really see why my dad fell in love my mom and vise versa. I mean hubba hubba, wowzas! Not that old age has done them wrong, but it's fun to see where they have come from, and not just ended up.

I don't know a whole lot about their courtship, other than they dated in high school, but as part of my project I will ask the questions and write them down for posterity's sake.
