Apostrophy Designs: January 2011

Goodbye January!

Man I can't wait for January to be over.

I seem to struggle with this month, I just hate getting home at night and not having the energy to go anywhere or accomplish anything.

So I'm saying GOODBYE January and HELLO February..

I am going to plan a GIVEAWAY, a 2ND BIRTHDAY and hopefully a VALENTINES DATE!

I will also be updating my shop with more zipper products and some news stuff as well.

Oh boy, I can't hardly wait.

Sure love my Berg-a-lish...

She's been singing all day, "Give said the Little Stream" & "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam"

Also love nursery, when I picked up her today they said she basically sang the whole time.

Sounds about right for her right now.

I'm just hoping American Idol will still be around when she grows up.

If not we will just have to settle for Miss Cache Valley...ha ha jk!

These Ones? Pillows!

I whipped out some new pillow covers.

Most because I couldn't find the old ones and mostly because I just loved this fabric!

Bergs really likes them too and keeps asking me "these ones, pillows!?"

I even have a few scraps left over with an idea of some fun things for the shop.

But that'll have to wait until February, I'm on vacation!

P.S. This is my 500th post, crazy huh? Maybe I will have to do a giveaway or something?

Or maybe just a dance party.

..H.I..v.E...s...

Yep.

Just when I thought we were over one sickness hill, we ran right into another.

It happened really fast this afternoon, and we're not really sure what the caused HIVES.

But I am thankful to have people in the "know" that can help me get them taken care of.

Especially since I'm new to all of this and sort of freaked out.

The HIVES are still around tonight, but after some more medicine (which kinda wires Bergalish) they are starting to fade.

I am hoping tomorrow she will be back to her fun self and cute as ever! Just like in these pictures of her dancing.

(Sorry no pictures of said HIVES because she just looks too sad with splotches by her eyes and on her cheeks!)

Sunday Sickies

This is what the Sunday sickies looks like.

The good news is we only had to get up once last night...so hopefully things are on the mend.

Because let's face it the world is better with a full nights rest!

Still Here

We're still here, but having too much fun to blog.

Hopefully this week we'll find some time!!

I have some great new things for my shop and of the bergs...be back soon.

News Years Eve / Grandma's BIG Birthday

It was Don's Mom's 60th Birthday on New Year's and so we celebrated with dinner, Aggie game (for some) and then treats and presents!

Bergs just wants to be big, so she spends a lot of time chasing around and acting like her older cousin Paige/Peaches/Peggy.

More cousin action. Bergs and Brooklyn actually have the same jammies on!

All the kids huddled around Grandma after she opened her presents!

We love you Grandma and we hope you enjoyed your BIG Birthday! :)

Oh Barf!

It all happened around 3 a.m.

I woke up and moved so fast, I left no covers on our bed.

Bergen's usual night stirs had gone quickly from coughs to barfs!

**I should mention night coughs are no big deal in our house since we have croup or colds about every other week. WE LOVE THE WINTER TIME!

I feel like it only took me three giant leaps to get from our room, down the hall and into Bergs room.

I caught her as she was still half asleep choking on her barf.

Poor baby girl. Oh wait poor mommy, she stuck her barf covered hand in my mouth.

Yep. You heard me.

Game over, I ran with her in my arms to the bathroom sink to dry heave.

**I am not good with things like this, EVER....

blood=nope, guts=nope nope, barf=nowayjose!

As gross as it sounds, I was fine. FINE! I was able to yell at Adam and then clean up our poor Bergs as she was finally waking up and started to realize what was going on.

We cleaned her off and I think she realized what she had already put me through and begged for her dad the rest of the night.

I showered and said a silent prayer.

Boy am I thankful for prayers.

Here is a picture of Bergs one night before our family prayers.

She loves to line up her 'friends' every night before we say them.

Last night we had a group around 10, she's a great missionary!

Our prayers with Bergs aren't always the longest but I hope the principle will stick.

Because I know our Heavenly Father answers prayers.

Even if they involve barf.
