Party in the U.S.A.

What happens when you take 30-ish people to California?

A great BIG party...

Quite The Character...

Not sure who's more of a character...

Still working on the pictures from the trip, more to come!

...and We're Back!

The trip was a success and I can't wait to share some photos.

We are all exhausted so it will have to wait until next week!

In the meantime the first person to guess which ride this picture was taken on will receive something special!

...and We're Off!

Be back next week!

Suzie-B Homemaker

Reading everyone's blogs lately has left me lacking...

I haven't made any jams lately, canned anything, or put together any salsa's.

So today I decided to put my homemaking skills to the test (ha ha!).

We've only ever been able to grow zucchini and by the truck load.

So instead of trying to give it all away or make it into breads, I grated it up and froze it so we can enjoy zucchini bread all winter long!

Hey Mickey, You're So Fine

Exactly one week from today my little family (and my BIG family) is going to be on our way to California to meet the one, the only Micky Mouse (and maybe Minnie too!).

I love that place and now that we've added a child into the mix my excitement level has gone up 1,000 times.

So much in fact, that I decided to whip up this little outfit for Berg's first visit to Disneyland.

I just took an older onsie and I just straight-stitched a felt shaped mouse, I added a bow to give it a Minnie appeal.

(No need to applique because felt doesn't fray, yah!)

I even made a cute matching bow for Bergs hair.

This may or may not be one of the reasons I am having trouble focusing on other things.

Excuse Me...

I am in a bit of a creative rut, anyone else experience those?

Hopefully I'll be back with a better looking blog and some fun pictures soon!

What's a girl gotta do to be able to get ready in the morning?

It seems we've developed a case of being clingy.

After an hour or so of crying I finally decided to saddle my baby up.

It's not ideal, but at least I got my make-up done.

Hells Kitchen Remodel

It's pictures like the above that make me shiver...

Can't believe we lived through that!

It's pictures like the below that make me glad we've changed things up.
